It’s here! The very first episode of our new streaming show The Agency – starring Mark & Dana.

At Grey Sky Films, every project starts with a simple goal: make something great. What follows is usually anything but simple. Because making great content is hard, and making it look easy is even harder.

So, we decided to explore this wonderfully absurd world we spend our days & nights in by…well…making even more films! The Agency is a scripted workplace comedy that follows Mark and Dana as they navigate ambitious client requests, industry buzzwords, everchanging social media trends, impossible timelines, creative disagreements, and other countless unexpected obstacles that stand between an idea and a finished video.  The Agency explores the entire spectrum of creative chaos, and every episode offers a humorous look at what it really takes to bring great content to life.

Mark approaches every challenge with practical experience, skepticism, and a growing sense that the industry has lost its mind. Dana embraces the chaos, convinced that every problem has a creative solution, even if she has to make one up on the spot. Together, they attempt to keep projects moving while making sense of an industry that changes fast enough to make one’s head spin.

Part parody, part love letter to the creative industry, The Agency pokes fun at the challenges of modern content creation while celebrating the talented people who make it happen. Whether it’s deciphering Gen Alpha slang, surviving client feedback, chasing the marketing world’s flavor of the day, or trying to decode the difference between a view, a click, and an impression, the team manages to cross the finish line.

The premiere is available to watch on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook!

Brands Mark Has Worked With

Mark’s love and passion for photography started at a very young age. His father had built a darkroom in the basement of their house and for a young Mark, the spark was ignited. He saw the magic of watching a simple piece of photo paper transform into an image right in front of his eyes and he was hooked. Right then and there he decided he needed to be involved in that creative world somehow. Not knowing exactly where or how to break into the industry after graduating William Paterson University of New Jersey, Mark felt the best approach would be to start his own production company.

Professionally, Mark has spent the last 20+ years as a co-founder of Grey Sky Films and has directed thousands of videos. He feels lucky to have had the privilege to work with agencies and clients such as Entennmann’s, Chimay, Global Beer Network, Gatorade, Propel, HTC, LG, Prudential, SONY, Optimum, Ashley Furniture, Post Foods, D’Artagnan, PSE&G and so many more.

Mark’s work has taken him around the world to so many awe-inspiring places and has placed him in every situation imaginable.
