How We Got The Name ‘Grey Sky Films’

Coming up with a company or brand name is always an interesting process, and this one – the naming of Grey Sky Films – takes us back about 20 years to these two guys starting their own video production company right out of college.

They approached the naming process in the same way they did when they were in bands growing up –  listing things that sounded cool and going from there!  As music fans a lot of their inspiration came from names of bands or songs or phrases from lyrics.
